Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. In addition to the Road Trip role, he was also a part of The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. He also has appeared on more than 22 series, including Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls is fighting Hodgkin's lymphoma since he was 14 years old. After two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. The treatment was so early that it had a significant influence on the body which slowed the growth of his body. At the time he started to act, financial stability was the ultimate ambition. The man had experienced hardship in his youth. He commented, "I've been living so frugal for so many years that I need to have financial security, otherwise my life can seem out of control and that's not good for me." He thinks back to his youth and feels a desire to take action against the bullying. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. The best DJ role is that of a father in real life. The director admits that they don't want to cast DJ in such role. In the future, he'd love to have a kid in order to be able to dedicate much less of his time to more attention to the newborn.
